I know I’m very picky about giving books a five star rating but I’m just going to go ahead and give it to this one because I had SO MUCH FUN reading it. Were there times where I felt the plot dragged a little bit? Yes. Did the story exaggerate harmless stereotypes and become incredibly corny at times? Also yes. But here’s the thing, I loved every bit of it.
I took a while to get past the first hundred pages but after that I couldn’t stop reading. From the hilarious dynamic of a typical Asian family to some very wholesome scenes, this story takes you a wild ride that includes murder, romance and comedy.
If you’re ever looking for a light read guaranteed to keep you gripped and have a good laugh, Dial A for Aunties is the way to go.
