Kathleen Dawson

Kathleen Dawson is a Scottish backstroke swimmer. She won gold at the 2020 Tokyo Olympics in mixed 4 × 100 metre medley relay in a world record time. She is also the European champion at the 2020 Budapest Championships and holder of the European record in 100 m backstroke. Dawson shined in Budapest, reaping a total of 4 medals, 3 of them gold. She took her first individual Euro title in the 100 back along with golds in the 400 medley and mixed medley relays. She also earned silver in the 50 back.
