Yung Baby Tate born Tate Sequoya Farris is an American rapper, singer, and record producer. She released her debut studio album Girls in February 2019.
Farris was born and raised in Decatur, Georgia, United States on May 13, 1996, She was born to her parents Dionne Farris a soul singer and David Ryan Harris a musician and producer. Her mother has always supported her music career.

She began her music career at the age of 13 when she started producing her own beats. She started showing an interest in music at an early age dancing and playing the piano. Baby released her first EP ROYGBIV on November 15. In December 2016, she released her Christmas-themed EP YBTXMAS.

Throughout her successful career, Tate has earned herself a grammy award. She won the award in 2020 for her work as a songwriter on Dreamville’s Revenge of the Dreamers
