Alexandra Morgan Carrasco known as Alex Morgan is an American professional soccer player. She began her Soccer journey right at the age of 14, where she was highly supported and coached first by her father. She is best known for the Orlando Pride of the National Women’s Soccer League, the highest division of women’s professional soccer in the United States, and the United States women’s national soccer team.
Alex made her professional debut and helped the national team at the 2011 FIFA Women’s World Cup win the league championship, who was 22 at the time and was the youngest player on the national team. In the inaugural season of the National Women’s Soccer League, Morgan joined Portland Thorns FC and helped the team win the league title in 2013.
Alex was ranked by Time as the top-paid American women’s soccer player (2015), largely due to her numerous endorsement deals. She also became the first women’s soccer player to appear on the cover of FIFA video games (2015). She also appeared alongside Lionel Messi on covers of FIFA 16 sold in the United States and was named one of Time’s 100 Most Influential People of 2019.
